If only more textbooks were that easy to work through.

I have to say, though, that someone recommended Head First HTML with CSS. It’s a gem; excellent, research-based exercises in a crisp format. I had no real need to learn CSS, but this book made me want to learn it, and happier when I fiddle with the style sheet behind my own blog. I’ve never built one from scratch, but I understand better what it’s doing and why–and, often, how to remedy what I don’t like.
