We have discussions that compare past history to current history that is embedded in popular cultural icons and events to link ideas. We critically analyze relationships i.e., the mega million empire of Beyoncé and JZ as individuals and a family. We look at film footage and news clips about the billions generated and why their images and lyrics are carefully crafted to tell a particular story about history and people of color from a questionable moral context.
