Bob Mosher opened the Performance Support Symposium with a passionate keynote about Performance Support. It strongly made the case for a blended approach, which I support. As with mobile, the time is definitely now.

Hi Bob
The mind map sounds very interesting! How do I actually get access to view in more detail?

Brenda, I’m not Bob, but I had more trouble than usual getting a reasonable size image up, it *should* link to the full image, but I’m only using my iPad, and don’t have full control. Hope to remedy when I get home.

I wish I’d heard the keynote. Bob’s approach is awesome. I look forward to seeing the big mindmap, Clark. Let us know when it’s uploaded.

Connie, while I’m glad Bob’s pushing performance support, I wish his view was a little broader than than the desktop. I see performance support being both more contexts (e.g. mobile) and drawing on more resources (e.g. social). Still, I’m glad performance support is resurrecting.

Connie, To Clark’s point and as I mentioned on Twitter post PSS12 – Allison Rossett’s final presentation really was one that set the stage of a broader view of PS. If you haven’t seen her slides be sure to look for them (hope they are available).
